Before commenting on a petition, make sure you follow this guide before you hit submit.

1. The purpose for comments is to express why you are signing this petition. It is this reason that you cannot comment without signing first.
2. Comments will include your first and last name. Make sure you are okay with a public comment being attached to your name before you submit it.
3. If you do not want your comments to appear on your public profile, go to your (privacy settings) and select Your Friends Only. This way, only people whom you have added as friends will be able to see any comments you have created.
4. Comments are only removed when they violate our Terms of Service. See the section on User Content for what you cannot post on Change.org.
