To locate any petitions you created, follow the guide below.

  1. Go to change.org/petitions
  2. Click on "My Petitions"

I have no campaign button. I cannot find a single place to edit. Seems my best bet is to start over from beginning, I mean really this site couldn't be any less user friendly.

How do you track who has signed your petition?  I'm like you guys, there is no such "my campaigns" or whatever.  It's like it's lost in space!

I am so incredibly frustrated! I came to change.org and signed a petition and then got an idea to start my own called, "Hawk's Law" when I was done creating it asked me to share on Facebook, so I did. Now, I can't access my petition as the creator. I can't view my signatures or make changes. I don't think I created an account prior to creating my petition and all of my e-mail addresses come back as unrecognized when I try forgot password. I just want to access my petition and not have all this hard work go to waste, please someone help me!

I can't edit my petition and it says I have no petitions. At first, I couldn't log in and had to redo my password. Something is wrong. Please fix this immediately as I and many others are in the middle of a campaign.

When I click on "my petitions" is says I have no petitions.  I started this petition and really need to edit it and I can't.  Please fix this problem!  I also cannot see the entire list of people who signed.  This petition will be not good if I cannot edit it and send it on to the appropriate person.  This site is very confusing.  It says the petition is started by me, but will not allow me to edit it.  Please repsond ASAP.  Thank you.

Every time i sign in to look for my link to my petition or to change it, the length of time it take to find current petitions is far to long...

The UI for clients that have open Petitions needs to be much easier to access and manage...

When I try to access the petition that I created, it say that I don't have any petitions.  How am I supposed to get the signatures for printing if I can't access them?

Your instructions "Change.org/petitions; click 'My Petitions'; click 'Started by Me" do not work.  Please correct this immediately.  Thank you.

I edited my petition to separate recipients into individual sends instead of all in one since they have separate addresses.  I also added an amount to number of signatures that I failed to fill in when I created the petition.  The changes appear to have worked.  When I log in I get them.  However in the link that I am mailing out with requests to sign the old screen keeps coming up?

I started a petition, and at first I was able to find it only by going to change.org/petitions, and then clicking 'my petitions'. But now that tab doesn't even come up, anymore. So I can't find it. And I think they had it in a place, all along, where noone else could find it, either. Because it only had 2 signatures, mine and my sister's. How do I find it, and how do I get it in a visible spot? No way to contact Change.org, either.

It won't let me edit my petition and it's very important! It concerns  the Catholic Church, my Church. It's very important that I edit it and make it professional.

Hi- I do not have my own petition- but I am helping someone promote a petition they started.  It needs to edited BADLY.  The person isnt computer savvy, so I was going to offer writing an addendum to the letter- so that the letter makes sense.  Before I did that, I want to make sure that it is actually possible to edit a petition letter after it has been signed. And if it is possible- how to do that. (I'd send them instructions on how to edit it) but it looks like it's not very easy!

I found this below by doing a google search.  I thought it may help some of you.  If it works and you are able to edit your petition- PLEASE post here again and let us know - and also HOW you did it.

Apparently once your petition gets its first signature- they send you an email telling you.

Subject Line: Your petition just got its first signature!

The email is from mail@change.org

*Check your inbox and spam folder for this email.

At the very bottom of the email

t says-

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To edit your petition, post updates, or send messages to supporters, click here:

----SO

I am guessing that you can reach your petition by clicking on that link or typing it in-

change.org/petition/title-of-your-petition-with-each-word-separated-by-dashes

PLEASE TRY THIS AND LET US KNOW IF IT WORKS!

How difficult this seemingly small task is!

The secret is typing the URL of your petition and add /edit at the end

It would look like this: http://change.org/petition/title-of-your-petition-with-each-word-se...

I just had this same problem, emailed Salsa, and learned that the edit tool is only available once you sign your own petition:

To edit a petition that you've created:

1. Log in to the site using your email address / password.
2. Go to http://www.change.org/petitions#started-by-me
3. Visit on the petition you wish to edit.
4. Make sure that you’ve signed the petition first.
5. When the blue administrator’s bar show up at the top of your screen, select “Edit Petition”.
6. Click the “SAVE” button at the bottom of page.

I had that problem also. None of this is useful. I want to update the petition expiration date. None of mine even reached 100 signatures and 1,000 is the goal on both of them. I tried sharing my petitions with people that I know. The reshaping the world to improve our lives is the most important. Search "reshape the world to improve our lives". That takes action on allot affecting us.

The key is to sign your petition first.  I believe this should have been made part of the instructions.

TO DELETE YOUR PETITION.

First, you must sign it. So....

Log in if you haven't already done so.

Go to THEIR home page.

Click on your own name at the top.

Click on the icon BESIDE the name of the petition you wish to delete. They wouldn't dream of letting you click on the name itself!

SIGN the petition.

When the petition opens, DON'T choose the edit option.  They wouldn't make it that simple.  Click on MORE ACTIONS (at the top) and select DELETE from the pulldown menu.

They will ask if you are sure.  You ARE.

Repeat the earlier steps to go back to your petitions.  You want to make sure they are deleted.

It will appear that they have NOT been deleted.

Click on the petition you have tried to delete.

You should get a message from the system saying that file is missing.

That's It! You've deleted the petition.

I went back to verify whether these steps are correct. They ARE.

After about 15 minutes (may vary) you should be able to go back to your personal page and find that the deleted petition is gone.

Thanks to Liana and Jcox for explaining that you must sign the petition before you can edit it. I wonder why it took 17 months for this answer to appear in the comments? Doesn't the administrator of this site read the comments? I'm glad it only took me an hour or so to find these comments and learn how to edit. Oh well, I will still try to use this application.

Agree with Patricia on this entirely, seems absurd that it wasn't spelled out clearly that I must sign the petition before editing or changing it. Wasted at least an hour today looking through settings, reading FAQs, etc. For no reason.
